Fish Fry dinners at St. Mathilda every Friday
The St. Mathilda Church Ladies Auxiliary will sponsor Fish dinners fundraiser plate lunches from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. every Friday at the Bishop Ceaser Center.
A donation of $8 will be accepted.
Lenten Fish dinner will not be served on Good Friday.

EHS Softball Tourney senior project set Feb. 20
Eunice High seniors Nicholas Powell, Tyler Allison, Darren Serie, and Robert Dacus will sponsor a Softball Tournament as their senior project on Feb. 20 beginning at 11 a.m. at 899 S. Martin Luther King Drive.
Ages 15-27 are invited, with admission of $5. Refreshments will be served. Cash donations will be accepted.
All proceeds from the tourney will go to a family of children who have been separated from their parents, and are now in custody with their grandmother. Information, details: call 457-0180, 337-200-0977, or 337-550-5523.
AMC cardiologist to speak Heart Health on Feb. 18
The public is invited to learn more about Heart Health with Acadian Medical Center Cardiologist Dr. Kian Ehsan on Feb. 18 at noon at the AMC Acadian Room.
February is Heart Health Month, and Dr. Ehsan will give a discussion about cardiac care and how to keep your heart healthy and advanced treatments available for cardia care.
Lunch will be served. Seating is limited.

Lafayette Genealogical society meet Feb. 18
Lafayette Genealogical Society monthly meeting will be held on Feb. 18 at the Lafayette South Regional Library, 6101 Johnston Street beginning at 6:30 p.m.
Guest speaker will be Chase Manuel who will inform about plans for the new Celtic Bayou Festival to be held in Lafayette on March 11 and 12.
Plans for the festival include a genealogy tent to help people trace their Celtic ancestors.

NZBC Women on Mission Recruitment set Feb. 20
The New Zion Baptist Church “Women on a Mission” will have a Recruitment Social for the purpose of mission groups in Eunice and surrounding areas joining together.
The recruitment social will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Feb. 20 at the J. G. Frank Activity Center, located at 251 Nimitz Street, in Eunice.
There will be dinner, a movie, fellowship, testimonies and door prizes.
EHS Alumni Assoc. election set for Feb. 24
Eunice High Alumni Association will have its Election of Board and officers on Feb. 24 at 6 p.m. in the EHS library.
All EHS alumni are invited and welcomed to attend. All lifetime members are urged to get involved with this organization.
