Fish Fry dinners at St. Mathilda every Friday
The St. Mathilda Church Ladies Auxiliary will sponsor fish-dinner fundraiser plate lunches from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. every Friday at the Bishop Ceaser Center.
A donation of $8 will be accepted.
Lenten Fish dinner will not be served on Good Friday.

Upcoming OLLI at LSU Eunice events set
On March 22, inside the Continuing Education Building Room 117, the Cajun Prairie Chapter of OLLI at LSUE will offer an AARP Smart Drivers Course.
Refresh your defensive driving skills, review traffic laws and rules of the road using proven safety strategies as well as have the opportunity to perhaps receive a multi-year discount on your insurance.

EHS Alumni Assoc. election set for Wednesday
Eunice High Alumni Association will have its Election of Board and officers on at 6 p.m. Wednesday in the Eunice High School library.
All EHS alumni are invited and welcomed to attend. All lifetime members are urged to get involved with this organization.

Upcoming OLLI at LSU Eunice events, March
The Cajun Prairie Chapter of OLLI will offer a field trip to the Louisiana Spirits Distillery to Tour Bayou Rum and the Tupper Museum in Jennings on March 8.
The outing will be in the comfort of a passenger van, with a cost of $18 per person, which will cover the cost of the van and admission into the Tupper Museum.
Lunch will be at each persons expense. Meet at the Continuing Education Building Room 117 at 8:45 a.m. for departure. Call Ching Wasmuth at 337-457-4745 or Thanda at 337-550-1390 to make a reservation before March 3.

Catholic Daughters meeting set for March 7
Court Eunice 208 of the Catholic Daughters of the Americas will hold their monthly meeting, on March 7 at the Jeanmard Hall.

Allegro String Quintet at LSU Eunice March 7
The Allegro String Quintet, whose members are musicians with the Eunice Symphony will present “A Little Night Music” as part of LSUE Performing Arts sereies at 6:30 p.m. March 7 inside the auditorium of the Health Tech building (nurses building) on LSUE campus.
Tickets are free to students and $3 for general admission. Tickets are available at the door.

ABC host Couples Retreat March 11 to 12
Acadian Baptist Center in Richard will host a Couples’ Retreat on March 11-12.
The retreat will be led by Kevin Richard, Associate Pastor of Counseling at Trinity Counseling Center in Lake Charles. Richard has a B.A. from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary, and a M.A. in Professional Counseling from Liberty University. Richard is also a Licensed Professional Counselor.

Ushers Appreciation at Greater True Light
The Greater True Light Baptist Church in Eunice invites area ushers from surrounding churches to their 9th annual Usher’s Appreciation mini workshop and fellowship program on Saturday, March 12 with registration beginning at 10 a.m.
Ushers are invited to attend annual Usher’s Appreciation Day service with an annual Ushers March on Sunday, March 13 during the church’s 8:30 a.m. service.

ABC host Women’s Retreat March 18 - March 19
The Acadian Baptist Center near Richard will host a Women’s Retreat on March 18-19. Speaker will be Kathy Nelson of Ruston. Nelson has been ministering to college students for 25 years and is an author, bible teacher, and speaker at retreats and conferences. Music will be provided by Katy James.
Cost for this event is $80, including meals and lodging; $45 for commuters, including meals.
