Opelousas man surrenders to Breaux Bridge police in stabbing death

A 50-year-old Opelousas man surrendered at the Breaux Bridge Police Department in the stabbing death of his 68-year-old female friend, Capt. Clay Higgins of the St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Office stated in a news release Monday.
Glaston Junius is being held on a $250,000 bail at the parish jail, Higgins stated.
Junius, who presented himself peacefully to authorities at the Breaux Bridge Police Department, stated that he believed he had killed his female friend, Higgins stated.
Initially the incident was reported on Saturday, Nov. 14, as having occurred in the 300 block of Country Ridge Road in Opelousas.
Higgins stated Junious provided full details regarding the altercation that resulted in Williams’ death.
Investigators confirmed Williams was stabbed to death.
