Parish officials to take oaths Monday

St. Landry Parish President W. K. Bill Fontenot, Jr. and the St. Landry Parish Council members will be sworn into office in a ceremony beginning at 10 a.m. Monday at the Delta Grand Theatre,120 S. Market St., Opelousas.
The public is invited. The event will last until noon.
St. Landry Parish Council members to take their oaths are:
District 1 — Jerry Red Jr.
District 2 — Nancy A. Carriere.
District 3 — Fekisha Miller-Matthews.
District 4 — Mildred Thierry.
District 5 — Harold L. Taylor.
District 6 — Kenneth Marks.
District 7 — Alvin Stelly.
District 8 — Vivian Olivier.
District 9— Wayne Ardoin.
District 10 — Dexter Brown.
District 11 — Timmy Lejeune.
District 12 — Jimmie Edwards.
District 13 — Coby R. Clavier.
