Police chief: Please stay off roads

Eunice Police Chief Randy Fontenot is asking people to stay off roads Saturday.
"Every vehicle on a road at this time is causing a problem for us. Shelter is open at Word Ministries. All roads into Eunice are under water. Bridges are not safe. Stay off Maple and bobcat bridge," he said in a text message.
Widespread flooding is affecting Eunice and Acadiana Saturday morning.
