Prairie Acadian host History-Coton jaune

The Prairie Acadian (Jean Lafitte) Center in Eunice will host a film and textile artistry of the hidden history of Coton jaune (Acadian brown cotton) to light on May 16.
The free event begins at 1 p.m. and will feature a special showing of recently released documentary Coton jaune-Acadian Brown Cotton -A Cajun Love Story, plus a discussion period, and a demonstration of spinning and weaving cotton.
