Property deal is on Eunice board agenda
The Eunice Board of Aldermen is to consider a property deal at its meeting scheduled to begin at 6:15 p.m. Wednesday at the Municipal Complex.
The meeting was moved from Tuesday to Wednesday because of Mardi Gras.
The proposed ordinance on the deal states that the city and Bayou State Investments will swap property. The city’s property is two lots on Samuel Drive and Bayou State Investments’ property is next to the Northwest Community Center.
The city property is valued at $15,000 and the Bayou State Investments property is valued at $16,000, the ordinance states.
A public hearing on the ordinance is at 6:15 p.m. The regular meeting begins at 6:30 p.m.
Other agenda items include two applications for liquor licenses. Applicants are The Superette, 1230 W. Laurel Ave., and Moore’s Cajun Cuisine, 1640 W. Laurel Ave.
