Rotarians to gather in Crowley

They say that if you look hard enough, you can find a festival every weekend in Louisiana. From Thursday through Saturday, Crowley will play host to a very special festival.
Classified as the Festivals of Rotary, Rotary International District 6200 is sure to be a good time for all Rotarians who attend the district conference.
The conference will feature business sessions mixed in with tours, a golf scramble, a tennis tournament and Rotary Parade. Also on the agenda for the weekend are club exhibits, the annual Food Fest, guest speakers, vendors with Rotary items, youth reviews, luncheons and many awards to be presented for hard work from throughout the district.
The events will begin with a special highlight in the weekend: an appreciation dinner for past district governors and their spouses. The dinner will be held at the Grand Opera House, at 6 p.m. Thursday.
Registration for Friday will be held at the Grand Opera House Friday and at the International Rice Festival Building Saturday. It is at those locations that the day’s events will proceed. Registration Friday will be held from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Registration is set for 7:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday.
There will be numerous door prizes, meals and fellowship along with new ideas, networking and a history-making celebration. Dr. Ezora Proctor, Rotary International District 6200 governor, and her husband, the Rev. James Proctor, along with the Rotary Club of Crowley President Mary Zaunbrecher (conference chairperson) and the entire Crowley club invite all Rotarians to Crowley for the Rotary International District 6200 Conference.
