Thieve/Thieves get 3 mowers at True Value

Grass-cutting season is about to shift into high gear and a thief or thieves decided Sunday night to get a jump on the competition.
Police records indicate that someone cut through a chain link fence at Smith’s True Value at 300 East Laurel and made off with three zero degree turning radius mowers.
The mowers were stored in the fenced area.
A thief or thieves apparently loaded them onto one or more trailers and/or trucks and went on his or her or their way.
Investigation continues.
