Widespread flooding reported in Eunice

Eunice, La. --
Widespread flooding is being reported in the Eunice area Saturday morning.
Eunice Police Chief Randy Fontenot said boat rescues have occurred in what he called the worst flooding he has seen in 34 years.
Fontenot said the only way to Eunice this morning was through Basile and Mamou.
Sections of La. 13 were reported under water north and south.
Sections of U.S. 190 also are reported covered by water.
