8 UL Lafayette students recognized as Spring 2016 Outstanding Graduates

Eight students will be honored during Spring 2016 Commencement ceremonies as the University of Louisiana at Lafayette Alumni Association’s Outstanding Graduates.

Crop duster make an emergency landing

The Acadia Parish Sheriff’s Office reported an emergency landing of a crop duster on Wednesday in the Lyon Point area of Acadia Parish. No injuries were reported.  Acadia Parish deputies and local fire departments responded. The name of the pilot and other details were not released.
