Louisiana still ranks low in education, and One Acadiana leaders have four ideas to possibly improve education in the state.
— Maintain standards and accountability.
— Early child care and pre kindergarten.
— Develop school options for families.

Freshman U.S. Sen. Bill Cassidy took aim at jobs during a town hall meeting at the Delta Grand Theatre in Opelousas Thursday.
From allowing the export of U.S. oil to building roads, Cassidy’s one-hour presentation was peppered with talk about growing jobs.

Jimmy Fallon has suggested he run for president. The Washington Post likened him to John Wayne. He’s hired an agent, a manager, a CPA and an entertainment attorney since taking over as the face of KATC’s Crime Stoppers segment last fall. And he likes the burgers at Stelly’s in Lebeau.
