Casey Marcise Chambers, 24, 600 block of Glen Street, Opelousas. Domestic abuse battery with child endangerment, criminal damage to property.
The City of Opelousas, Zydeco Capital of the World, will hold the 14th Annual Zydeco Breakfast from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. Sept. 3 under the oak trees surrounding the historic St. Landry Parish Courthouse.
Community Garden open hour Tuesdays
The Eunice Community Garden’s open hour on Tuesday has been suspended until milder weather arrives, Patricia Brown, interim garden coordinator, said.
