$80M paid for flood food assistance

The Louisiana Department of Children and Family Services issued nearly $80 million in disaster food assistance in 21 parishes impacted by flooding — with more than $48.9 million in Disaster Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program benefits and more than $30.9 million in disaster-related benefits

More than 14,000 households receive Disaster Food Assistance

The Louisiana Department of Children and Family Services issued more than $5.8 million in disaster food benefits to 14,267 households who applied for Disaster Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program aid statewide by Tuesday.

Disaster food signup schedule includes Eunice Southeast Center
