Reaction positive to chancellor selection

Kimberly Russell, LSU Eunice’s first woman chancellor and the only female of the final four chancellor candidates, will take over as head of the campus on Sept. 1, and reaction to her selection as chancellor has been positive.

In March, LSUE Chancellor William Nunez sat down for an interview in his office, but not really.
It wasn’t long before Nunez, who had announced his retirement in the fall, was up and pointing out photos on the wall to explain the physical progress on the campus.

LSU Eunice offers training to first responders on who to work with the media

LSU Eunice will hold a short course for rural first responders on working with the news media on Aug. 20.  The seven-hour tuition-free course will be held on the LSU Eunice campus.  The deadline for registration is Aug. 6.

Fontenot awarded Teaching Excellence Award

203 degrees awarded at LSUE

Louisiana State University Eunice awarded 203 degrees during commencement ceremonies in the LSU Eunice Health and Physical Education Building.
Dr. F. King Alexander, president and chancellor of LSU, was the commencement speaker.
