LSUE chancellor reacts to latest budget cut news

On Jan. 26, LSUE Chancellor Kimberly Russell submitted a plan to LSU for how the campus would deal with a possible $ $797,151 budget cut, but Thursday’s announcement that TOPS payments have been suspended will only bump up the day the campus is left in the lurch.

A check for $3,000 was presented to the LSUE Foundation from the Experience Louisiana Festival proceeds. The presentation was made on the campus Thursday. The festival was was held in October for the first time on the campus. Experience Louisiana Festival delivers $3,000 check to LSUE Foundation

The LSUE Foundation received a $3,000 check from the Experience Louisiana Festival held for the first time on the LSUE campus.
The festival was held Oct. 17 and 18 and drew about 5,000 people for music, folk demonstrations, arts and crafts, poetry, a film festival, and food.
