Man allegedly kicks in ex-girlfriend's door, threatens to kill her

A Scott man was booked into the Eunice City Jail last week after allegedly breaking into his ex-girlfriend’s house and threatening to kill her.

According to Eunice Police, officers responded to a call in the 200 block of Fuselier street at 4:10 a.m. May 18.

The woman told police her ex-boyfriend Skylar Mouton had come by and asked to be let inside her house several times, but she refused.

She told police Mouton then kicked in the door and entered the residence, threatening to kill her, before leaving, according to police.

After speaking with the woman and juvenile witnesses, police issued a warrant for Mouton for home invasion.

Mouton was taken into custody in Lafayette Parish and booked into the Lafayette Parish Correctional Center before being transferred to Eunice on May 31.

As of Friday, police said Mouton has not yet appeared for lineup is still incarcerated.
