NWS eyes slight chance of late-week ice, snow

The National Weather Service in Lake Charles said Tuesday afternoon it is closely monitoring the possibility of light snow or sleet for late Thursday into early Friday over the Eunice area.
While temperatures will be below freezing across our entire region, the question mark will be how much moisture will be available to make precipitation.
At this point, the winter precipitation chances are in the 20 percent range, which is low.
Low temperatures Friday morning will be close to 20 degrees, the NWS forecasts. That follows a Thursday low in mid-20s.
