Juniors tennis coach
FRANKLIN – Services for tennis instructor and coach Gustavo Rivera, Sr. will be Monday. He died Jan. 28 in Little Rock, Ark. at age 55.
He was owner of Gus Rivera Tennis Academy and had taught tennis to numerous young players in Lafayette, New Iberia and in Little Rock. He was a member of the board of the Louisiana Tennis Association and one of the top junior tennis coaches in the South.
Survivors include his wife Kelsey and two children.
Arrangements are by Griffin Leggett Healey Roth, Little Rock.
