Paul 'B.L.' Miller
Paul “B.L.” Miller died at Acadian Medical Center in Eunice on the evening of Saturday, February 08, 2014. He was 94. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at 11:00 on Monday, February 10, 2014 at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Eunice. Rite of Committal will follow in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery with Msgr. Robert Romero Celebrant.
He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II. He was a retired carpenter and a lifetime member of the VFW and a honorary life member of the American Legion.
Survivors include a son, Herman Miller and wife, Juanita; a daughter, Judy Reed; four step-sons, Harry Begnaud and wife, Elaine, Harold Begnaud and wife, Vickie, Keith Begnaud and wife, Alicia, Mark Begnaud and wife, Jelaine; and a step-daughter, Bobbie Fontenot and husband, Dean all of Eunice; two brothers, Burley Miller of Grand Junction, Colo.and Freddie Miller of Rayne; 22 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Theobert and Odilia Ortego Miller; wife, Viola Bazinet Miller; two sons, Ronald and Olan Miller; grandson, Mitch Reed; two brothers, Ervin and Egbert Miller; three sisters, Edith Cart, Odile Smith and Dolice Chapman.
