Trio charged with home invasion, murder

Three men are charged with home invasion and first-degree murder in the death of an elderly man found bound in his bedroom Tuesday morning.
Malcolm Hall, 24, and Martavia King, 21, both of Gloster, and Dalduran Brandon, 25, of Frierson, are being held without bond.
Officials said indication are that Nathaniel Cash, 79, died of a heart attack during the invasion and subsequent assault.
Robbery was said to be the motive. Earlier this month, Cash had awakened and ran off an intruder in his home, police said.
Authorities alleged the suspects admitted to both crimes.
