After seven weeks, alleged invader, abuser returns to scene, this time nabbed
On January 3, 2014 a female notified the police department that her ex boyfriend had forced his way into her apartment in the 500 block of Fuselier St. Upon arrival officers learned that he entered through an unlocked bathroom window and started arguing with her.
She finally got him to leave the apartment but he returned and kicked in the door and tried to strangle her. The suspect then took her cell phone then left the scene.
Officers then issued warrants for his arrest for the incident.
On Sunday the suspect, Tronoski Thomas, 24, of 520-A Fuselier, went to the apartment of the victim. She then notified police who arrived and took him into custody for the outstanding warrants. He then appeared in 27th Judicial Court this morning and was denied bond. He remains in the Eunice City Jail at this time.
Thomas is charged with two counts of home invasion and domestic abuse battery.
