Apparently no laws broken by KKK hate-pamphlet deliverers

Recruiting hate message delivered to a number of Eunice yards, parking lots

Apparently no laws were broken by the person or persons circulating racially inflammatory materials in Eunice over the weekend.
Residents in East Eunice neighborhoods and customers of some businesses along Laurel Avenue reported fliers and pamphlets from the Loyal White Knights of the Ku Klux Klan being thrown in their yards or placed under wiper blades on their vehicles.
Police did stop a vehicle regarding the fliers and questioned a Eunice man, a Conroe, Texas man and a Lake Charles man and woman before sending them on their way.
Their names were not released.
The materials’ message differed little from that spewed as far back one can remember in Klan lore.
Persons receiving the the materials -- black or white -- were obviously upset but those talked to by the newspaper declined to be interviewed for the record.
The Loyal White Knights are led by Imperial Wizard Chris Barker of North Carolina. Amanda Barker is the Imperial Kligrapp and leader of what could be called the women’s auxiliary.
The web site to which the pamphlet directs readers as well as two phone numbers ask for a return name and phone number.
No one has called The Eunice News back.
