Three Busted for allegedly "busting a sag"

Three Eunice youths were busted for allegedly “busting a sag”on Wednesday, according to the Eunice Police Department.
Police received a complaint stating that three individuals were walking west on West Vine Street towards 6th Street with their pants hanging below the waist line.
Upon arrival in the area an officer detained the three individuals and requested identification. While speaking to the individuals the officer detected the possible odor
of marijuana and he advised the three that he was going to search them. At that time one of the individuals, Gujuan Freeman, 18, of Eunice, took off running and
jumped several fences. Freeman was the located and arrested in the 500 block of West Peach Avenue. The other two individuals also left the area while Freeman
was being pursued. All three were eventually located and booked in the Eunice City Jail.
In addition to being charged with wearing pants below the waist in public, Freeman was also charged with resisting an officer and obstruction of public passage.
Shaiheem Mitchell, 20, of Eunice, was charged with wearing pants below waist in public.
Devacques Senegal, 19, of Eunice, was also charged with wearing pants below waist in public
Eunice city ordinance section 14: 109 makes it unlawful for minors and adults to wear pants below their waist in public.
All three bonded out after booking.
