BATON ROUGE – Services for retired contractor Aubrey “Buck” Barber, Jr. will be Thursday. He died May 6 at age 77.
He was president and CEO of Barber Brothers Contracting and a past director of Fidelity National Bank.
Survivors include his wife Marianna and two children.
Arrangements are by Rabenhorst.

CARENCRO – Services businessman and civic leader Lawrence Heidbrink will be Thursday. He died May 6 at age 65.
He was an Air Force veteran of the Vietnam War. He owned and operated Video Boutique and Added Touch and was a former Carencro fireman.He was past president of the Lafayette Parish Parks and Recreation Commission.
Survivors include his wife Betty and three sons.
