Former exotic dancer pleads to helping kill Crowley businessman

A former exotic dance admitted Thursday that she poisoned a Crowley businessman who disappeared in 1984.
Leila Muilla, 48, told the court she fed Gary Kergan, 34, poisoned wine in a plot to kill and rob him. His body has never been found, though blood was found in the trunk of Kergan's abandoned car.
He was last seen alive in the apartment shared by Mulla and Ronald Dunnagan, now 65, of Bossier City, arrested twice but not under indictment in the case.
Mulla, a dancer in a Plank Road lounge when she met Kergan, agreed to help the prosecution in its case against Dunnagan. She got a 30-year prison sentence.
