Man driving stolen car leads police on 100 mph chase, strikes bridge, runs, is captured

A man driving a stolen car led police on a 100-mph chase early Tuesday before hitting a bridge railing and being arrested.
While on patrol an officer observed a Dodge Stratus disobey a stop sign about 3 a.m. at the intersection of W Magnolia and Samuel Drive.
The officer then attempted to stop the vehicle for the violation but the driver accelerated to 65mph in a 25mph residential area on Eisenhower Street.
The vehicle then turned East on Hwy 190 and accelerated to about 110 mph while fleeing from officers.
The driver then turned south onto S East Street and he was involved in a crash at the intersection of S East Street and Maple Avenue, the vehicle struck a bridge railing then a utility pole.
The driver then exited and attempted to run but was tased and taken into custody. He was transported to Acadian Medical Center by ambulance for treatment of minor injuries then released.
The driver, identified as Randall Mabb, was then booked into the Eunice City Jail on a host of charges. The vehicle driven by Mabb was stolen from a residence in the 400 block of Pearl Street prior to the pursuit.
Mabb appeared before 27th Judicial District Judge James Doherty and bond was set at $13,750.00. He remains in the Eunice City Jail at this time.
Charges against Mabb, 25, of 1044 Samule Drive, include
No seat belt
Stop sign violation
Aggravated flight from an officer
Resisting an officer
Driving while intoxicated
Driving under suspension
No Proof of insurance
Theft of a motor vehicle
