Library holds closing Summer Read Ceremony & Awards program

The Eunice Public Library held its Closing ceremony and awards program of its Summer Reading program Wednesday morning at the Jean Lafitte Center in Eunice.
Recognition of all Summer Reading completions were named in each age division.
Included are:

Door prizes included book bags filled with reading books, restaurant and business discount coupons, pencils, book marks, T-shirt, plastic drinking cups, and much more.
Grand prize awards, which included a Galaxy tablet and case, a Twilight Gameboy and game, and a bicycle donated by Walmart in Eunice were drawn and given away.
The Youth program grand prize, a bicycle donated by Eunice Walmart, was awarded to Gracie Vige.
A Teen door prize winner was Denise Hebert. Allie Giffith and Kiley Tauzin were door prize winners as well. Brenlye Reed was a teen door prize winner and Adrienne Darbonne as well.
Stayce Gallow was the door prize winner of a Samsung Galaxy Tab-2 and case. Christina Porter was an adult door prize winner as well as Patricia Johnson.
Sharonda Edwards was an adult door prize winner of a gift card donated by Cafe Mosaic.
Leslie Edwards was a door prize winner in the teen reading completion category.
Refreshments were served at the conclusion of the program.
