Highland Elementary receives school supplies

Highland Elementary receives school supplies compliments of recent St. Landry-Evangeline United Way school supply drive.

Highland Elementary received three boxes of school supplies (binders, notebooks, folders, scissors, hand sanitizer, rulers, calculators, protractors, paper, copy paper) donated by St. Landry -Evangeline United Way’s Stuff the Bus drive and St. Landry Homestead in Eunice. Principal Lorie LeDoux plans to distribute to her students on campus in need. Donna Baltakis, a board member of United Way, says supplies are still coming in, “Every little bit helps-Plans are continuing and on-going for other Eunice schools to receive supplies.” Pictured from left are Ledoux, Baltakis, and Jacob Bergeron, loan officer at St. Landry Homestead.
