Woman charged with stealing queen contestants' belongings

A Maurice woman is accused of stealing contestants belongings while they were on-stage for the Cattle Festival Beauty Pageant on Saturday night.
Casie Bennett is charged with felony theft.
She alleged entered the contestants’ dressing rooms and stole items valued in total at $3,000.
Police said wallets, cell phones, cash, checks and credit cards were stolen.
Bennett turned herself in the same night as the thefts and all the missing property was recovered, police said.
