Tigerama set for Nov. 12

The LSU Tiger Marching Band, Golden Girls and Colorguard have entertained millions of LSU fans as they perform before, during and after football games at Tiger Stadium, as well as other special events locally, nationally and abroad.
On Wednesday, Nov. 12, LSU fans will once again have a chance to witness one of those special events, as the Tiger Band will present this year’s annual Tigerama concert at 7:30 p.m. in the Pete Maravich Assembly Center.
For more than 30 years, Tigerama has served a special concert event held to celebrate not only the current LSU Tiger football season, but also highlight the many talented musical and performance ensembles that are part of the LSU Department of Bands. The event includes performances by the LSU Wind Ensemble, Symphonic Winds and Tiger Band, featuring the Golden Girls and Colorguard, as well as the LSU Cheerleaders.
“Tigerama is a great way to see the best of Tiger Band, as well as a great recruiting tool for our department,” said LSU Director of Athletic Bands Roy King.
Prior to the Tigerama concert, a live music social will be held on the arena floor, with drinks and cocktails served from area restaurants. There will also be a special boutique on hand with Tiger Band-related items available for purchase.
General admission tickets for Tigerama are $20, while student tickets are $10. VIP tickets, which allow access to the pre-event social, are $100 each. Group purchases for tables on the arena floor are also available.
In addition to the annual evening Tigerama concert, there will also be a special daytime performance at 9:30 a.m. in the Pete Maravich Assembly Center presented especially for area schoolchildren. Tickets for this performance are $10 each and include a meet-and-greet session with the Tiger Band, Golden Girls and Colorguard members.
Proceeds from this year’s Tigerama will go directly to support the Tiger Band through the Tiger Athletic Foundation.
