A seven-point run by the Lady Bulldogs was slowed by a trey by Maggie Miller.
MGCC continued to build its lead with six more points, but a put-back and a free throw by Lemieux closed the gap to 60-47 with 8:11 remaining in the game.
The out-manned Lady Bengals continued to battle as Miller scored from the baseline and Knight put in a basket in the lane.
Lemieux added back-to-back buckets to close the gap to 65-55 with 3:51 left.
Richard’s trey and an inside bucket slowed another Lady Bulldog run.
Lemieux scored the last Lady Bengal bucket with 21 seconds left but MGCCC added two late shots to close their 78-62 win.
