EHS seniors donate needed items for pets

Macy Ceasar, left, and Kelsey Clavier, Eunice High seniors, donated blankets, towels, litter, animal shampoo and much more needed pet supplies to the St. Landry Animal Control Center in Opelousas as their senior project. They chose the project because of their compassion and love for animals. Ceasar added, “We both have a passion for animals so what better way to show our love than to help the animals. During our time working on this project we have raised over $500. One hundred fifty dollars of supplies have been purchased and donated to the shelter and the remaining money will be used to purchase cement slabs for the playgrounds. It is truly a wonderful feeling to help and make a difference in the world. The duo seniors began their senior project since October of last year volunteering at the shelter and collecting donations since then.” (Photo Submitted)
