Florist and Zydeco musician visit East Elementary

East Elementary kindergarten students recently completed a reading lesson on “Jobs People Do” and invited special guests on campus. Top photo: Alison Comeaux, a florist at Petals & Pots in Eunice. Comeaux spoke about her job duties as a florist. Students had the opportunity to create a collage picture using flower petals. Second photo, kindergarteners learned about the letter “Z” and enjoyed Zydeco music provided by Marshall Fontenot, an eighth grade student at Eunice Junior High, and son of principal Dwanetta Scott at East Elementary.
