“My goal is to provide a leadership style that is consistent and constant that will enhance teacher effectiveness and student achievement.
“Change is inevitable. But, I assure you, I will never ask you to do something I won’t do with you.”

Doucet’s degrees include elementary education, special education, secondary science and English, a masters in curriculum and instruction, reading specialization, and 30+ in administration and supervision.
Monsignor Romero says, "While she officially begins on July 1, she will be in and out of school observing and learning the campus, teachers and students. I take this occasion to thank the Search Committee for their good work in interviewing candidates and evaluating the best candidate for St. Edmund's principal.
"The Search Committee, St. Edmund Advisory Council and I invite the St. Edmund School family to join us in welcoming Laurie Doucet."
