VILLE PLATTE-Funeral services for Prenella Ann Thomas, 49, will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, July 4, 2015 and the visitation will be from 5:00 pm – 10:00 pm on Friday, July 3, 2015 at Zion Hill Baptist Church in Ville Platte, LA. Burial will be in the Jones Cemetery in Eunice, LA. Rev. Elton Jones will conduct the funeral services.
On Monday, June 29, 2015, the Angels of Heaven descended on Lafayette General Hospital and escorted Prenella to the Promised Land.
Cherishing fond memories of her will be her husband, Wilfred Thomas, Sr. of Eunice, LA; four sons: Wilfred Jones, Jr. of Fort Worth, TX, Gregory Jones of Ville Platte, LA, Daniel Jones of Lake Charles, LA and Antonio Jones of Eunice, LA; five sisters: Priscilla Monday, Katina, Christina and Leanna Jones all of Eunice, LA and Renella Jones of Port Author, TX; six brothers: Willis Jones, Jr., Timothy, Darrell, Robert and Ernest Jones all of Eunice, LA and Willie Jones of Opelousas, LA; 14 grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Willis and Ceanna Jones; one daughter: LaShonda Jones, one sister: Frenella Cullivan and two brothers, Wilton and Wilfred Jones.
