Silver Lane “Big Sil’’ Patton Guillory

EUNICE ~ Visitation for Silver Lane “Big Sil’’ Patton Guillory will be from 9:00 am to 1:45 pm at Bishop Ceasar Center with funeral services following at 2:00 pm at St. Mathilda Catholic Church, at 800 East Laurel St., Eunice, both on Friday, August 28, 2015. Burial will follow in the St. Mathilda Catholic Church Cemetery, all in Eunice, LA. Father Darren Eldridge will officiate at the service.
Silver passed away at 3:30 am on August 24, 2015 at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Lafayette, LA.
Silver was a very devoted and faithful member of St. Mathilda Catholic Church. She loved her family dearly and everyone she came in contact with. She was a first class citizen and a very devoted friend. She didn’t have to know you, to help you.
Survivors include three sons: Gerald Patton, Gabriel Patton and Rapheus Joseph, all of Eunice; two daughters, Grace Patton (Henry Lee) and Courtiana Patton, both of Eunice; two brothers, Andrew Patton (Sheila) of Eunice, and Jeffery Patton (Vickie) of Kinder; three sisters: Carol Patton and Vera Patton, both of Eunice, Elaine Patton (Richard Fuller) of Magnolia, TX; 4 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
Silver was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Patton and her husband, Mr. Gerald Guillory.
Pallbearers will be: Glenn Poullard, Rodney Frank, Artie Ellis, III, Jeffrey Patton, Jr., Zachary Tunwar and Robert Patton.
