Karen Sanders

Karen Sanders passed away on Monday, August 31, 2015, at the age of 61.
A Memorial Mass will be held on Friday, September 4, 2015, at 1:00 p.m. at St. Anthony Catholic
Church in Eunice.
Karen is survived by her father, Clyde Sanders and his wife Margaret of Schrievier, LA; her mother,
Carol D. Crooks of Eunice; Kelly LaBove of Lake Charles; two sisters, Juanette Hebert of Denham
Springs and Holly Schexneider; four brothers, Doug Hebert of Shreveport, Jeffery Hebert and wife
Mary of Baton Rouge, Gary Sanders and wife Sandy of Thibodeaux, and Alton Sanders and wife
Gisele of Baton Rouge; and special family and friends, Julie Harrison of Denham Springs and
Nola Reed of Lake Charles.
Karen was a native of Eunice. She lived a long and fulfilling life in Lake Charles as a realtor for 25 years.
Karen fought a long and courageous battle with cancer.
The family would like to extend their gratitude to Karen's work family at Century 21 Bessette Realty in
Lake Charles.
She had a great affection for her caregivers, Dr. Michael Broussard and the oncology staff.
At the request of the family, visitation will be held on Friday, September 4, 2015, from 9:00 a.m. to
12:30 p.m. at Quirk & Son Funeral Home.
