Gladys Richard

EUNICE ~ Visitation for Gladys Richard, will be held on Saturday, October 10, 2015 from 9:00 am to 11:00 am with funeral services following at 11:00 am, both at Greater True Light Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the Macedonia Cemetery in Belair Cove, LA. Rev. Jermain Tezeno will be officiating the services.
Ms. Gladys, 80, passed away Friday, October 2, 2015 at 1:50 pm at her residence.
Ms. Gladys was a member of Greater True Light Baptist Church for over 60 years.
Survivors include: two daughters, Lucille Richard St. Andre of Eunice, LA and JoAnn Richard Janice of Forth Worth, TX; three brothers: Carris Richard and Allen Richard, both of Houston, TX, and Lionel Richard of Mesquite, TX; four sisters: Mildred Bell and Voila Hanchett, both of Houston, TX, Mercedes Guillory and Delores Andrus, both of Eunice, LA; 3 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren.
Ms. Gladys was preceded in death by parents, Mr. Earnest and Mrs. Elvina Richard; one brother, Albert Richard; one sister, Alice Vaughn, and one son-in-law, Dudley Stevens, Jr.
Pallbearers will be: Anthony Richard, Percy Williams, Tracey Bell, Kenneth Bellard, Billy Harris, and Thomas Goodley, Jr.
