Eunice Food Bank Food for Families Drive set for Dec. 8

The 29th annual Eunice Food Bank Food Net “Food for Families” Drive is set from 6 a.m. until 8 p.m. Dec. 8.
“The community of Eunice as well as surrounding areas have always been very generous, giving and caring in the past. And, with this said, we need you again this year,” said Mary Ann Guillory, Eunice Food Bank director.
Donations of non-perishable food items, tolietries, as well as monetary donations are accepted now and again on the “big” day Dec. 8.
Donations can be dropped off at the food bank location, 251 W. Park, (old DMV building).
Volunteers are needed for the Food Net Drive on Dec. 8. Call Guillory to volunteer, at 337-457-7541 or 337-305-0876.
The Eunice Food Bank hours and days are Monday, Wednesday, and Fridays from 9 a.m. until noon.
Some suggested food items and non-perishable items needed are: bath soap, canned milk, canned ravioli, canned soups, canned vegetables, cereal, cooking oil, corn bread mix, dish detergent, dried beans, flour, mac and cheese, peanut butter, ramen noodles, rice, salt, sugar, spaghetti, spaghetti sauce, tomato sauce, toilet paper, toothpaste, tuna and Vienna sausage.
