Pet kennel back on Eunice agenda

The Bark Avenue Pet Spa & Boutique, which has requested the city adopt an ordinance allowing and regulating pet kennels, is back on the Eunice Board of Alderman’s agenda for its meeting Tuesday.
The board is to meet at 6:30 p.m. in the council chambers on the second floor of the Eunice Municipal Complex, 300 S. 2nd St.
The pet facility’s request was not acted upon at the October meeting.
Current city law only allows pet boarding at veterinarian facilities.
The business is owned by Andy and Rachel Young.
Other items on the agenda include:
— Update on College Road and East Ardoin Road improvements.
— Change order for the airport runway project.
— Appoint building inspector agency.
— Request satellite office of the parish government in City Hall.
— Charles Minex of the Rural Housing Development program.
— Executive session on a personnel issue by Police Chief Randy Fontenot.
