Love Laid Down Revival in Crowley
There will be a Love Laid Down Revival Friday through Sunday with The Tennessee Fire Team travel ministry giving messages and music.
Revival services include 7 p.m. Friday and 6 p.m. Saturday at the Crowley Rice Theater; and 10 a.m. Sunday at The Welcome House in Maxie.
Free admission.
Upcoming OLLI at LSU Eunice events set
On Tuesday, The Cajun Prairie Chapter at LSU Eunice will offer a field trip to visit the Opelousas Orphan Train Museum.
The cost is free, a carpool will leave from LSUE at 9 a.m. in the Continuing Education Building, Room 117.

On March 22, inside the Continuing Education Building Room 117, the Cajun Prairie Chapter of OLLI at LSUE will offer an AARP Smart Drivers Course.
Refresh your defensive driving skills, review traffic laws and rules of the road using proven safety strategies as well as have the opportunity to perhaps receive a multi-year discount on your insurance.
LSU Eunice offers sign language course
LSU Eunice Continuing Education is offering a new leisure learning course.
Signing with Song will be an eight-week course that will use song to help introduce students to sign language.
The class will meet on Wednesdays in the Community Education Building on the campus of LSU Eunice.
The class begins Feb. 17 and ends on April 13.
Registration for the course is $45 for the general public and $40 for OLLI members.

EHS softball yourney senior project set
Eunice High seniors Nicholas Powell, Tyler Allison, Darren Serie, and Robert Dacus will sponsor a softball tournament as their senior project on Feb. 20 beginning at 11 a.m. at 765-899 S. Martin Luther King Drive.
All ages are invited to join, with admission $5. Refreshments will be served.

AMC cardiologist to speak on Feb. 18
The public is invited to learn more about Heart Health with Acadian Medical Center Cardiologist Dr. Kian Ehsan on Feb. 18 at noon at the AMC Acadian Room.
February is Heart Health Month, and Dr. Ehsan will give a discussion about cardiac care and how to keep your heart healthy and advanced treatments available for cardia care.
Lunch will be served. Seating is limited.

NZBC Women on Mission Recruitment
The New Zion Baptist Church “Women on a Mission” will have a Recruitment Social for the purpose of mission groups in Eunice and surrounding areas joining together.
The recruitment social will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Feb. 20 at the J. G. Frank Activity Center, located at 251 Nimitz Street, in Eunice.
There will be dinner, a movie, fellowship, testimonies and door prizes.
EHS Alumni Assoc. election set for Feb. 24
Eunice High Alumni Association will have its Election of Board and officers on Feb. 24 at 6 p.m. in the EHS library.
All EHS alumni are invited and welcomed to attend. All lifetime members are urged to get involved with this organization.

ABC to hold couples retreat March 11-12
Acadian Baptist Center in Richard will host a Couples’ Retreat on March 11-12.
The retreat will be led by Kevin Richard, Associate Pastor of Counseling at Trinity Counseling Center in Lake Charles. Richard has a B.A. from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary, and a M.A. in Professional Counseling from Liberty University. Richard is also a Licensed Professional Counselor.

Ushers appreciation at Greater True Light
The Greater True Light Baptist Church in Eunice invites area ushers from surrounding churches to its ninth annual Usher’s Appreciation workshop and fellowship program on March 12 with registration at 10 a.m.
