Theresa Ann Doucet-Scott

EUNICE ~ Visitation for Theresa Ann Doucet-Scott, age 76, will be held on Saturday, March 5, 2016 from 8:00 am to 11:00 am, both at New Zion Baptist Church in Eunice, with funeral services following at 11:00 am. Interment will follow in the St. Joseph Cemetery in Chataignier with Rev. Allen W. Ben officiating.
Theresa passed away on February 25, 2016 at 4:46 am at her residence.
Theresa was a member of New Zion Baptist Church for over 50 years. She enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, and friends. She also enjoyed shopping and traveling.
Survivors include a son, Gary Wayne Scott (Angelic) of Beaumont, TX; three daughters: Cathy Scott Price (Harry) and Charlotte Scott Alexander (Gerry), both of Richmond, TX, and Michelle A. Scott of Eunice, LA; three brothers: Wallace Doucet, Jr. of Eunice, LA, Allen Doucet (Patricia) of Willimsburg, VA, and Wilbert Jack of Ville Platte, LA; one sister, Albertha Trosper of Eunice, LA; 9 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter, and three sisters.
Pallbearers will be: Patrick Laster, Derrick Laster, Donald Trosper, Raymond Burney, Jr., Dennis Scott and Alex Scott.
