EUNICE-Funeral services for Catherine Rhines, 58, will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, June 4, 2016 at New Zion Baptist Church in Eunice, LA. Visitation will be observed from 8:00 am until service time. Burial will be in the Attales Cemetery in Ville Platte, LA. Rev. Eddie Caston will officiate the services.
On Tuesday, May 31, 2016, at her residence in Eunice, LA, Catherine quietly and peacefully entered into eternal rest.
Cherishing fond memories of her will be her devoted husband: Ike Rhines, Jr. of Eunice, LA; her parents Manzy and Margie Thomas both of Eunice, LA; three children: Tanzy M. Rhines, Eric V. (Caressa) Thomas and Ike (Denise) Rhines, III all of Eunice, LA; 6 sisters: Kassie J. (Edward) Walton of Oakdale, LA; Linda F. Thomas, Glenda M. (John) Hill and Rebecca A. Thomas all of Houston, TX, Cindy G. (Charles) Viges and Annjeanette M. Thomas both of Eunice, LA; Manuel Thomas, Jimmy D. (Liz) Thomas, Ferrall Thomas (Lesha Griggs) and Kenneth J. (Veronica) Thomas all of Houston, TX ; 7 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
