James O. Fruge

EUNICE-It is with heavy hearts that the family of James O. Fruge announces his passing on Monday, August 29, 2016 at his home at the age of 93. A Celebration of Life will be celebrated at 11:00 am on Wednesday August 31, 2016 at Ardoin's Funeral Home Chapel in Eunice. Burial will follow in the St. Paul Mausoleum with Deacon Gary Gaudin officiating.
James, a veteran of United States Army, was a retired field inspector. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend, will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved him, especially his loving wife of 73 years, Clara Fruge of Eunice; daughters, Nancy Ryder of Eunice and Diane Fruge of Gainsville, FL; four grandchildren, Jamie Fruge, Byron Fruge, Lance Fruge, and Jacob Ryder; three great granddaughters, Kieran Fruge, Giannie Fruge, and Ariana Fruge; as well as extended family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his son, Deaton Fruge; and parents, Evan and Lucy Sittig Fruge.
At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoin's Funeral Home in Eunice on Tuesday, August 30th from 11:00 am until 9:00 pm and again on Wednesday, August 31st from 8:00 am until time of services. Deacon Gary Gaudin will recite a Rosary at 6:00 pm Tuesday evening.
