Former bridge columnist
BATON ROUGE – Services for General Motors branch manager and master contract bridge player Robert Black will be Wednesday. He died Oct. 6 at age 89.
He was a 10th Mountain Division ski troopers veteran of World War II and held the Bronze Star. He was a former bridge columnist for The Advocate.
Survivors include a son and a daughter.
Arrangements are by Rabenhorst.
Former ULM coach
MONROE – Services will be Wednesday in Waco, Texas for former ULM football coach Jim Holland. He died Oct. 5 at age 64.
He also coached at Clemson, East Carolina, Wofford, Delta State, Western Kentucky and Baylor.
Survivors include his wife Sarah and two sons.
Arrangements are by Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey.
