ULL professor
LAFAYETTE – Services for ULL associate professor Dr. David Greenway will be Monday. He died Feb. 21 at age 57.
He joined ULL in 1996 and was a tenured associated professor of psychology. He area of specialty was analysis of substance abuse disorders. He was a licensed clinical psychologist.
Survivors include his wife Dan Liu and three step-children.
Arrangements are by Duhon, Rayne.
Army education specialist
METAIRIE – Services for U.S. Army education specialist Dr. Ernestine Montgomery will be Feb. 24. She died Feb. 17 at age 67.
She was based in the recruiting battalion in Dallas, Texas and previously was a profess0r at University of New Orleans for 13 years. At UNO, she also had served as director of career placement.
Survivors include a son and a daughter.
Arrangements are by Gertrude Geddes Willis.
Tulane doctor
NEW ORLEANS – Services for long-time Tulane University Hospital and Clinic physician Dr. Dean Ellithorpe will be March 15. He died Feb. 19 at age 77.
He had been on the university medical staff since 1976. He was first director of the Pulmonary Diseases Section’s Adult Cystic Fibrosis Program, post he resumed after Hurricane Katrina and was most recently the program’s associate director.
