Caldwell coach
COLUMBIA – Services for Coach Frank Mancil will be Sunday. He died April 3 at age 80.
He was an all-state high school basketball player in Alabama before attending Louisiana College in Pineville, where he lettered four years. He was former basketball and baseball coach at Kelly, Columbia and Caldwell Parish High Schools. He was twice named state coach of the year and won a state baseball championship in 1972. He was director of the Caldwell Parish Recreation Center for 20 years after retiring from the school system.
Survivors include his wife Sherril, two sons and two daughters.
Arrangements are by Riser.

Former Loyola official
NEW ORLEANS – Services for former Loyola University official Dr. Marjorie McCormick will be in Keene, N.H. She died March 17 at age 81.
She served on the faculty of Charity Hospital School of Nursing and Dillard University and was director of the Counseling, Career Development and Placement Center at Loyola. She also served as Loyola’s acting director of admissions.
Survivors include her husband, Lawrence and several children.
Arrangements are by Keene.
