Eddie Joseph Brown, Jr., passed away on Wednesday, August 12, 2015, at the age of 77.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, August 14, 2015, at 11:30 AM at St. Anthony Catholic
Church. Monsignor Robert Romero will officiate. Burial will follow at St. Paul Mausoleum in Eunice.
Eddie is survived by his wife, Lynne Chatagnier Brown of Eunice; three sons, Eddie Joseph Brown, III, and
wife Brenda of Eunice, Blake Louis Brown of Eunice, and Stephen Lynn Brown of Eunice; two daughters,
Jennifer B. Martin and husband Gordon of Allen, TX, and Donna B. Filo and husband Frank of Murphy, TX;
two brothers, Dr. Raymond L. Brown and wife Jill of Ferriday, LA, and Donald G. Brown and wife Rita Ann of
Eunice; one sister, Judith Brown and husband Bruce of Cheneyville, LA; fifteen grandchildren; and eighteen great grandchildren.
Eddie was preceded in death by his parents, Eddie Joseph Brown, Sr., and Hazel Whittaker Brown.
At the request of the family, visitation will be held on Thursday, August 13, 2015, from 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM at
Quirk & Son Funeral Home. A rosary will be prayed at 6:00 PM by Deacon Gary Gaudin. The funeral home will reopen
for visitation on Friday at 8:00 AM until the time of service.
