Hazel Thibodeaux

EUNICE~It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that the family of Hazel Thibodeaux announces her passing with loving family by her side in the comfort of her home. She was 87. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at 3:30 pm on Thursday, September 03, 2015 at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Eunice. Rite of Committal will follow in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery with Father Travis Abadie Celebrant.
Hazel was a homemaker and devoted her life to the care of her family. She was a very kind and loving woman and spending time with her family and friends brought a great deal of joy to her life. Hazel enjoyed sewing and cooking but most importantly she was a loving mother, sister, grandmother and friend and will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved her especially her six children, Waynon Thibodeaux, Shelia Fuselier, Perry Thibodeaux and wife, Peggy, Burnell Thibodeaux and wife, Barbara and Keylon Thibodeaux all of Eunice and Marla Vanicor and husband, Marcus of Church Point; two sisters, Pearlie Johnson of Eunice and Aly Doucet of Lake Charles; fifteen grandchildren and twenty one great grandchildren; as well as extended family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Cleveland Thibodeaux; her parents, Felix and Emiliza Breaux Thibodeaux; brother, Rilman Thibodeaux; two grandsons, Trae Vanicor and Kurt Fuselier.
At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoin's Funeral Home in Eunice on Wednesday, September 2nd from 11:00 am until 10:00 pm and again on Thursday, September 3rd from 8:00 am until time of services. Kerry Reviere will lead a Rosary at 7:00 pm Wednesday evening.
Pallbearers honored to serve are Ben and Brad Thibodeaux, Jacob and Chase Thibodeaux, Travis and Kale Vanicor and Brady Thibodeaux.
